How do we cultivate the leadership and relationships needed to unite around place-based, bioregional responses to collapse?
The Islands of Coherence Fellowship is a living container, a co-created journey for those tending to bioregional resilience and relational repair in the midst of collapse.
It arises from the recognition that the meta-crisis is not a problem to be solved, but a predicament to be lived through with clarity, courage, and care. While we cannot engineer our way out of collapse, we can respond wisely, together.
Rather than being seduced by narratives of renewable salvation or techno-optimism, the Fellowship invites a lucid reckoning with our planetary limits. It calls for a return to sufficiency, bioregional resilience, and life-honoring economies rooted in cooperation and care.
Through an 8-month journey, Fellows will be supported in:
- Nurturing the inner and collective capacities needed to navigate collapse
resilience, cooperation, mutual aid, participatory governance, and regenerative practices. - Cultivating the knowledge and skills for place-based systems change
bioregional learning, commons stewardship, local economic democracy, and ecological regeneration. - Connecting and strengthening cooperative networks
through peer learning, shared inquiry, and federated collaboration that amplifies impact.
